Crayola      This is an excellent website. It gives detailed lesson plans that include the skills that activity covers as well as variations and materials. There are resources such as books, videos, and software that could be used for each lesson. Also there are themes such as Inspiring Ideas under which each lesson is located which can narrow your search. They also provide their materials and places they can be purchased. Example: Sweater Letters (from which Inspiration example is based).
The Early Childhood Connection     The web site is for those teachers of Early Childhood. There are numerous examples of finger plays, books, lesson plans, etc. There even links to other resources, which broaden your search to include various web pages.
PBS Teacher Source      The web site offers many links to choose from pertaining certain grade levels and subjects to obtain lesson plans. There are also links to books that can be used as well as a section called Parent Connection. There are numerous areas that deal with other areas of being a teacher for example conferences and things actually happening in the world today. Teachers could receive a newsletter and there is a part that talks about technology and teaching which is very important today.
Enchanted Learning     The web site contains a picture dictionary with many pictures for each letter of the alphabet. It also includes lesson plans under subject headings as well as a search tool to find a specific lesson plan. The site offers a zoom store and monthly activity calendars. 
Marcopolo     The web site allows you to obtain just about any lesson plan for every grade level. The lessons provided are wonderful.
Child Fun     The web site contains themes that can be used in the classroom like color themes and food themes. There are links to chat rooms, a place to receive free items, and an alphabetical list of crafts that can be used for different activities. Another great aspect is that the web site provides links for parents and information for first time parents and the like.
Alphabites      The web site contains lesson plans for each individual letter. There are recipes and even comments from other teachers who have used one the activities. The site includes books for every letter and also allows anyone to post a comment.
