Product 5 Group Technology Activity For this assignment we had to work with a group to research a topic that is currently a major issue. The issue is about whether or not we agree with the non-traditional route to become a teacher which is called Alternative Certification or whether we agree with the traditional route that allows you to become a teacher by going through the actual degree program. Each member in the group had a task and I was the communicator. I was responsible for making sure the group was working smooth, initiating communication amongst the group, and compiling our final product. Group Process Evaluation I think this was a great assignment because it allowed us to research using the WebQuest. Although I did not personally do any research, I see how useful this type of work really is. This is a great activity for all students. I could have my students do a WebQuest for almost any topic. I do not have any complaints or concerns about this product. The only concern I have is that working in groups can be difficult if one or more members does not contribute their portion of the assignment when it is needed.
