This product was done so that we could learn how to use a puzzle making tool to create a puzzle of our choice. After creating the puzzle, we had to learn how to insert the final product into our webpage and load it onto the server. This product was designed to display my knowledge of working with new technology. This was the first product produced in my CUIN 3111 class. It shows my ability to use tools such as DiscoverSchool's Puzzlemaker to create puzzles, as well as my ability to insert my product into a webpage and server. At first, the process of uploading the puzzle onto the server and webpage seemed very intimidating to me. I had never done anything like this before. However, after some trial and error, the process worked out very smoothly. This was not as bad as I had originally thought. It was actually very simple. My favorite part of constructing this product was learning how to make different kinds of puzzles from the DiscoverySchool's website. I like the fact that you can let your own creativity flow and are not limited to only one idea. (Of course, this first product is a rough draft and therefore is not very creative.) In the future I plan to create creative, fun puzzles for my future classrooms. Learning how to upload files was also a really interesting part of this production. Like I said, this product can be created into a really fun activity for the classroom. I realized this tool will be very useful . There are many things you can make for your students and the best part is that you can use your own creativity. Not only can I as a teacher create the puzzles, but I can allow my students to create their own as well!
